
Mason Mount's Man United injury hell continues as £60m midfielder reveals he will be out for 'a few games' after being forced off with a hamstring issue against Brighton
Mason Mount admitted he is 'frustrated' to be facing another lay-off after suffering a muscle injury in Manchester United's defeat to Brighton last weekend. Mount did not reappear for the second half at the Amex Stadium with manager Erik ten Hag confirming afterwards that the player's withdrawal was forced by the injury problem, adding that 'we know the history of Mason'. Mount made just 20 appearances in his first season at United – including five Premier League starts – following a £60million move from Chelsea mainly due to a calf injury which kept him out of action for four months.
