"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."

It's 3:00 p.m. on a Wednesday in SoHo, and outside the about-to-open Longines boutique, a crowd has gathered—not just paparazzi, but the sort of carefully dressed tourists and shoppers who populate the neighborhood during business hours. A passing couple stops to ask what's going on, and a young man in a cream sweater beams at them. "Jennifer Lawrence is in there!"

Inside the store, Lawrence is perched in an accent chair and doing that thing she does so well: radiating movie-star energy while also appearing to be a completely normal person. She's wearing a brown sweater with a matching brown cardigan thrown around her shoulders, along with a short black skirt with a doubled-over effect. She pulls up the hem a bit to show me the construction. "It's a sweater over a sweater," she explains, "but I didn't put a skirt over a skirt." (Actually, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen did—the entire look is by The Row.)

Lawrence is here to launch the boutique and celebrate the debut of the watch brand's latest model. "The PrimaLuna," she says, extending one arm to show it off. "I don't normally call watches by their government names, but it's elegant. I only recently started wearing watches as jewelry, and I think that it's a really beautiful piece of jewelry."

The PrimaLuna is actually a relaunch of a classic moonphase style from the 193-year-old Swiss brand. With a domed 34-mm case and 48 sapphires, it has a lunar glamour that feels horologically relevant in a moment when more and more women's watches are starting to look like bracelets. "It's a statement," Lawrence says. "And it's permanent. It's not a trend. It's nice to have something so practical that's also beautiful."

The watch comes with a mother-of-pearl dial. Sharif Hamza

At 35 years old, with a résumé full of hit films and two small kids, Lawrence is in a stage of life where it helps to be decisive—even when it comes to accessories. "I'm in a phase where I'm wearing more permanent jewelry, as opposed to changing it. So I have an ear cuff that I've been wearing every day, and I have anklets that I wear every day." She sounds like any other busy mom, but her daily style is becoming the stuff of New York legend. She's regularly photographed around the city wearing the kind of accessible-yet-perfect outfits that make other city women want to go home and take apart their closets to see if they can achieve the same look.

And it turns out she's finding inspiration in the same places the rest of us are. "I notice silhouettes either online or in the streets," she says, "and living in New York is really inspirational." One thing she's clocked recently is the return of the Y2K-style layering—not the sophisticated The Row situation she has on now, but tank tops upon tank tops upon tank tops. "I started seeing the layers coming back, which is just fun when you're old enough to remember the trends in the early 2000s, with the tank hanging below the shirt."

She likes a dress over pants, she says, but she wants nothing to do with that era's other reigning silhouette. "Skinny jeans are dead, which I'm happy about. I don't want somebody to be able to tell with absolute clarity the difference of size between my thigh and my ankle."

Lawrence at the Rome premiere of Die, My Love Stefania D'Alessandro - Getty Images

With press ramping up for her new movie, Die, My Love, she's also been photographed out and about in high fashion, like the fresh-off-the-runway Dior, pulled from Jonathan Anderson's first collection for the house, that she wore to the Rome Film Festival. In the film, she plays Grace, a new mother losing herself to postpartum psychosis. "I definitely resonated with it because [motherhood] is such an identity shift," she says. "You're all of a sudden so important to this one person that another part of you starts to feel invisible." Holding up her hands, she tries to illustrate the difference between life pre- and post-kids. "It just feels like, I mean, Old Testament, New Testament."

Does she find that her style gets influenced by the characters she plays? "It happens every time," she says. "It's something that I seriously have to keep in control. I see it happening while I'm shooting, and then I look back at pictures and I'm like, Who is that? Grace was very influential. I noticed when I started to dress like her." Even Katniss Everdeen? "Well, maybe not Katniss. Although I can't put my hair in a braid without being like"—she lowers her voice to a goofy register—"Oh, you want somebody to bring up the movie?" This is the high-low magic of Jennifer Lawrence: Oscar winner, mom, wearer of sapphire-encrusted timepieces, and still totally willing to launch into a silly voice if it helps get the point across.

Jonathan Bennett would never turn down a chance to return to the Mean Girls universe — yes, it's a multiverse, Tina Fey said so — but he would prefer that his iconic ladies man remain as such.

"I think Aaron would be straight," Bennett tells host Tommy DiDario in Entertainment Weekly's exclusive preview of his upcoming appearance on the I've Never Said This Before podcast, when the host questions if he would want Aaron Samuels to be depicted as gay in a potential sequel, considering his own sexuality.

Bennett, who is over 20 years removed from playing the North Shore hottie who catches the eye of Lindsay Lohan's Cady Heron and Rachel McAdams' Regina George, points out that "almost all the guys" who play the major characters in Mean Girls have come out as queer since the film's release, "which is just funny to me."

Bennett, Daniel Franzese (who played Damian Leigh), and Rajiv Surendra (who played Kevin Gnapoor) were all closeted while making Mean Girls, and came out in 2017, 2014, and 2018, respectively.

"I think Aaron would be straight because I wouldn't want to change the narrative of Aaron Samuels because Jonathan Bennett is gay. You would keep the narrative of Aaron Samuels because that's the story," he reasons.

That's not to say that Bennett doesn't have ideas on what would happen should a sequel come to fruition. The Finding Mr. Christmas star acknowledges that no one has actually conceptualized the idea of a follow-up to the 2004 film, but says the desire to reprise their original roles is there for "99 percent of the cast."

Bennett tells DiDario, "I don't think there's been an actual conversation between us that I can remember. But, like, in the group chat, do we want to do it? Yes. It's just, we did that movie 22 years ago, so it's like... everyone grows up. We were kids shooting this movie. And then you grow up and get your lives... So it's like, we would love to come back and bring the band back together. It's just way above my pay grade. That's a Tina Fey question."

And if Fey gives a sequel the green light, Bennett shares that he believes his character would have become a teacher in the decades since the original film.

"Why don't we just do the movie everyone wants; we all come back, I'm a teacher at the school, the girls are grown up [and] have their own kids, and now their daughters are coming to school," Bennett suggests, adding that the film's plot would center on the parents' of the kids in school as they're the former Mean Girls. "It's just in your face, like, that's the storyline. It's not rocket science."

The actor quips that as someone that does Hallmark Channel movies, he thinks "a lot about multi-generational viewing," which would be a perfect way for both new and old fans of Mean Girls to enjoy a sequel.

"You could have a storyline for all the parents who are the millennials that are fans of the movie [and] grew up with it; so they're going to be attached to, like Lacey, Amanda, me. And then you have the kids who are the new [stars] for their kids to be watching, so they can identify with those kids," Bennett pitches.

DiDario jokes that Bennett is "such a producer," which the star takes on the chin, adding, "Tina, write [the movie]. I ain't getting any younger, sweetie."

Jojo Whilden/Paramount Christopher Briney as Aaron Samuels in 'Mean Girls (2024)'

Mean Girls — based on the 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman — has become a modern classic, and inspired a Broadway musical that ran from 2017 to 2019, which laid the foundation for Fey's 2024 movie musical adaptation starring Angourie Rice in the role of Cady, with Reneé Rapp in the role of Regina.

Bennett passed the torch of Aaron Samuels to The Summer I Turned Pretty star Christopher Briney for the film, who called the role a "dream."

As for the possibility of a sequel that features the original stars, Fey previously said she tried to bring back all four actresses for the movie musical but "it didn't come together."

"I have a feeling Paramount would love that. I have not really thought much about that," Fey told The New York Times in January 2024. "To me, part of why the stakes are so high in the story is because everyone's so young and feelings are huge, love is huge and friendship is huge in a way [that it isn't with] middle-aged moms. I love writing about middle-aged people, but I don't know."

If only one of the precogs could have warned Colin Farrell that going out for his birthday would result in one of his crappiest times shooting a movie ever.**

While visiting *The Late Show* on Tuesday, the actor revealed that he partied so hard one night that he needed 46 takes to nail one of his scenes in *Minority Report* with his costar Tom Cruise the next day. **

"I also had one of the worst days I've ever had on a film set [on *Minority Report*]," Farrell admitted to host Stephen Colbert. "It was my birthday on May 31, and we were shooting, and I begged production — who did I think I was? — of a $120 million film if they [could] not have me working on my birthday."

He quickly learned, however, that not even a birthday can stop production. **

"So of course my pickup was 6 a.m. on May 31, and I got up to all sorts of nonsense the night before," he said. "And I remember getting into bed, and as soon as I turned off the light the phone rang and it was the driver, [who] said, 'It's 10 past 6.' And I went, 'Oh, s---.'"

Farrell explained that he arrived on set in such a state that it caught the attention of the movie's second assistant director, David H. Venghaus Jr. **

"I got out of the car and he went, 'You can't go to the set like this,'" he recalled. "And I went, 'Just get me six Pacifico Cervezas and a packet of 20 [Marlboro] Red."**

Turning to the audience, Farrell quickly cautioned, "Now, listen, it's not cool because two years later I went to rehab, right? But it worked in the moment. All the holy people that we look to on how to live a life would say the present is all that counts."

So then Farrell "had a couple of beers" and went to set. "It was terrible," he lamented. "I will never forget the line I had that I couldn't get out. It was, 'I'm sure you've all grasped the fundamental paradox of pre-crime methodology.' That was the line that started the scene."

It got so bad, Farrell said, that the crew began to try to help him out. "I remember one of them coming up and saying, 'Do you want to go out and take a breath of fresh air?'" he said. "And I remember thinking, 'If I go out and take a breath of fresh air, then I'll be under more pressure when I come back in to be better.' And I went, 'No, we'll just go through it.'"

The plan did not work. "We did 46 takes," Farrell deadpanned. "Tom wasn't very happy with me. Tom, who I love, was not very happy!"

To prove his point, Colbert brought out a snapshot from the film that featured Cruise's character, John Anderton, holding a gun to Farrell's Department of Justice agent Danny Witwer's throat. "No, this is what he did. He pulled a gun on you," the host joked. "That's him at the end of the take right there!"

Released in 2002, and adapted from Philip K. Dick's 1956 novella of the same name, *Minority Report *starred Cruise as the head of D.C.'s pre-crime division, which arrests individuals before they can commit any offenses using premonitions received by clairvoyants, a.k.a precogs. However, John finds the tables turning on him when he is accused of a future crime, forcing him to go on the run.

Watch Farrell discuss his terrible, no good, very bad day on set above.

Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt tells PEOPLE she and her husband Chris Pratt "balance each other really well" as parents

The couple share kids Lyla, 5, Eloise, 3, and Ford, who turns 1 on Nov. 8, as well as Pratt's 13-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris

Schwarzenegger Pratt also describes this "sweet" time in their lives with their kids

Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt is opening up about her marriage to Chris Pratt.

In this week's issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands now, the author, 35, says that she and the actor, 46, are loving "this season of life and parenting" with their three kids Lyla, 5, Eloise, 3, and Ford, who turns 1 on Nov. 8, and Pratt's 13-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris.

"We do a really good job communicating," she says. "It's something that was really important to both of us from the beginning and continues to be really important to us as life gets busier and crazier, especially as you add more children into the mix."

Schwarzenegger Pratt adds that she and her husband — who got married in 2019 — "balance each other out really well" as parents.

"He has a lot of strengths that I don't have, and I have certain strengths that maybe he doesn't have," she says. "We are a great team. I think it's always keeping in mind that we're a team and that we're doing our best to tackle all the different things. We're also very present in this beautiful season of life of having young children and getting to spend a lot of time with them. It's such a sweet time."

She and her husband also prioritize their own connection, carving out "micro moments" with each other when their hands are full with their kids.

"When you have a couple kids that are younger it's always important to have these little micro moments throughout the day where you can connect," she says. "I think we put so much pressure on doing date nights or couples trips, but I think just having these moments throughout the day that allow you to connect really takes the pressure off of having to plan something that's over the top. It's honestly more realistic for this phase of life."

At this moment, she says Ford is "a crawling maniac."

"He's just pulling up on everything, giving me a heart attack," she says. "It's wild how there's something new every single day, and it's a beautiful experience. No day is the same."

She says Ford's older sisters "are just obsessed with holding and taking care of" their brother. "Eloise is my bath time helper, and Lyla is always my helper for holding him," she says.

Recently, Lyla and Eloise realized for the first time that the Kat and Brandy characters in their mom's new children's book Kat and Brandy, out Nov. 4, are based on their mom and her horse.

"It was a sweet little light bulb moment for them," Schwarzenegger Pratt says. "It was really special and oddly emotional and sentimental to be able to read the book to them. This book is not only talking about overcoming fears but also about the healing power of animals.

Kat and Brandy will hit shelves on Nov. 4 and is now available for preorder, wherever books are sold.

Elsewhere in *Live* Halloween hijinks, Ripa again recently reiterated her disdain for ungrateful children who complain about her Halloween candy each year.

"We're doing something unique," Ripa said in the Oct. 9 episode of the couple's approach in 2025, comically reigniting her battle with local children. "The kids of Manhattan are very, uh, demanding, I would say. You know, we give good candy. Full-size candy. You think they'd take the win and say, 'Thank you.' Jason Kelce is throwing in his nomination for PEOPLE's 2025 Sexiest Man Alive.

The retired NFL star, 37 — who was one of 2023's honorees alongside Pedro Pascal and Timothée Chalamet, among others — tells PEOPLE the first person that comes to mind is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a recent guest on his podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce.

"I just had The Rock on the podcast and it's hard to say that anybody's sexier than that," he says while speaking with PEOPLE about the launch of Slow Burn by Kingsford, a new limited-edition fragrance inspired by Jason.

Admitting it's a tough question, the former Philadelphia Eagle shares another name, this time a fellow football player: "I'm going to go with Cam Skattebo," he says, referring to the New York Giants rookie who won over NFL fans before suffering a gruesome season-ending injury last week.

"He's sexy with the way he operates, so I respect that," Jason says.

After Jason was named one of PEOPLE's 2023 Sexiest Men Alive, he was asked about his new status during an interview with SportsRadio 94WIP.

"Are you actually one of the sexiest men alive in your opinion? Because PEOPLE magazine says you are," the interviewer asked.

"I'm not even the sexiest man in my family, let alone the sexiest man alive," Jason joked back. "I mean, what are we talking about here?"

"It's fun and the publicity around the family and everything has gone to a completely different level. But yeah, that was funny to see for sure," he added.

Travis, 36, said on an episode of New Heights at the time that he was "all for it" and "proud" after his "sexy Batman" brother made the list. The Chiefs star also took the chance to tease his brother during the episode, jokingly suggesting that the whole Kelce family assumed PEOPLE "must have just written the wrong name in by accident."

Bella Hadid is feeling the love on her birthday!

On Sunday, Nov. 2, the Victoria's Secret model shared several photos on Instagram from her 29th birthday celebrations after ringing in her actual birthday on Oct. 9. Among the snaps were Halloween-themed decorations and blowing out her candles while joined by friends.

Hadid donned a sheer top and denim pants as she posed alongside Hailey Bieber in the first photo of the collection. Bieber, 28, who wore a white top and baggy denim pants, was snapped with her hands on the model's waist as she stood behind and smiled with her eyes closed.

The small party appeared to have been planned without Hadid's knowledge as she captioned the post, "Surprise 👻 I have the best friends ever cutest girls in the world. 🩷 I love you so so much."

A video showed the moment Hadid blew out the candles on her red birthday cake, which featured three photos of her wearing lingerie. The model was also filmed wearing a "Happy Birthday" tiara and decorating pumpkins alongside her friends.

The Instagram post included a stack of gifts for Hadid and a table full of sweet treats and pizza for the group to share. Bieber was snapped holding up a small trophy in one hand and her uniquely decorated pumpkin in the other.

She and Hadid have a close friendship and have been photographed throughout the years going on girls' night outs together. On Sept. 31, the pair were photographed enjoying themselves during Paris Fashion Week.

The outing came as Hadid made her return to the runway with Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2026 show just days after being hospitalized to receive treatment for Lyme disease.

In an Instagram post on Sept. 17, she had shared photos from her hospital bed, captioned "I'm sorry I always go MIA I love you guys."

The model, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease at 16, has also appeared on Victoria's Secret's runway since her hospitalization.

She apologized to a fan who called her out for appearing to have low energy during the show in the comment section of their now-viral TikTok video.

"Girl I got my period that morning and my stamina is not up yet after the whole hospital sitch, but I tried my best and I LOVEEEE you for this I'm ok I swear," Hadid wrote. "I'm sorry if I let u down. Love you I mean it."

ROME (AP) — It's not just Grand Slam titles that Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have taken turns collecting this year.

The top two tennis players are also trading the No. 1 ranking back and forth.

Sinner officially returned to the top spot in the ATP rankings on Monday following his Paris Masters victory — replacing Alcaraz, who had held the honor for nearly two months.

But due to the rankings' math and rules, Alcaraz will return to No. 1 next Monday.

The Italian and the Spaniard are separated by so few points now — Sinner leads with 11,500 points to Alcaraz's 11,250 — that it will come down to their performances at the upcoming ATP Finals in Turin to determine who ends the year at No. 1.

Points dropping off

While neither Sinner nor Alcaraz are playing this week — except for when the ATP Finals start on Sunday — the reason the rankings will change again next Monday is because that's the day when the points from each player's performance at last year's finals drops off.

Sinner next week will lose the 1,500 points he earned from winning the finals last year, while Alcaraz will lose only the 200 points that he earned after failing to advance from the group stage.

So next Monday, the rankings will read: Alcaraz 11,050 and Sinner 10,000.

And there's zero possibility for any other player to move into the top two spots anytime soon since No. 3 Alexander Zverev (5,560 points), No. 4 Taylor Fritz (4,735) and No. 5 Novak Djokovic (4,580) trail far behind.

Sinner and Alcaraz have amassed their huge points totals by winning — among other tournaments — all four of this year's majors.

Sinner won the Australian Open. Then Alcaraz beat Sinner in an epic French Open final. Sinner got some revenge by beating Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final. And then Alcaraz beat Sinner again for the U.S. Open trophy.

ATP Finals seedings

Making matters more complicated is that Alcaraz will be seeded No. 1 for the finals — even though he won't be ranked No. 1 entering that tournament.

That's because the finals uses another rankings system — the "Race to Turin" that takes into account only points accumulated in the calendar year.

Alcaraz leads Sinner by more than 1,000 points in the Race rankings.

Sinner lost ground in both systems during a three-month doping suspension near the start of the year.

Year-ending scenarios

Sinner needs to win the ATP Finals and hope Alcaraz doesn't reach the final to secure the year-end No. 1 for a second consecutive year.

Alcaraz needs to win three matches at the finals to finish 2025 atop the rankings for the second time in his career. Alcaraz became the youngest player to finish a year at No. 1 when he achieved the feat as a 19-year-old in 2022.

As for the WTA rankings, Aryna Sabalenka has already secured the year-ending No. 1 spot.

Sinner enters Turin on a 10-match winning streak after titles in Vienna and Paris, will be playing on his favorite surface — an indoor hard court — and can expect loud support from his home fans at the finals.

Alcaraz goes to Italy coming off a loss to Cameron Norrie in his Paris opener and has often struggled when playing indoors.

Auger-Aliassime, Musetti still trying to qualify

The other players to qualify for the finals — which features the top eight of the Race — so far are: Zverev, Djokovic, Ben Shelton, Fritz and Alex de Minaur.

Paris finalist Felix Auger-Aliassime and Lorenzo Musetti are still battling for the final spot, with Musetti needing to win a tournament in Athens this week to move ahead of the Canadian and qualify for the elite event in his home country.

It's also unclear, though, if Djokovic plans to play the finals at a point in his career where he has said he's focusing almost exclusively on the majors.

Djokovic, who withdrew from the finals last year, is playing in Athens this week.

If Djokovic withdraws, both Auger-Aliassime and Musetti would qualify for the finals.

The draw for the finals is slated for Thursday — when it could still be uncertain who the last qualifier is.

(AP Photo/Brynn Anderson)

NEW YORK (AP) — The $500 million Los Angeles Dodgers' thrilling World Series win over the Toronto Blue Jays attracted record international attention for Major League Baseball, affirmed LA's status as the sport's best team and drew more attention to baseball's payroll disparity heading into what is likely to be contentious labor negotiations.

Los Angeles' 5-4, 11-inning win over Toronto in Game 7 on Saturday night capped a postseason with seven winner-take-all games, two more than any previous year.

Shohei Ohtani is building a case as the sport's best player ever with his unprecedented two-way performances, captivating audiences outside the U.S. unlike any previous player.

"It just absolutely been the greatest benefit to the game that you can imagine throughout the year," baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred.

Toronto's success this year sparked interest throughout Canada, which gave the Blue Jays nationwide support.

Aaron Judge, Bobby Witt Jr., Paul Skenes and Cal Raleigh already have committed to play for the United States in next year's World Baseball Classic, which is gaining increased interest with each addition.

And MLB is negotiating to send big league players to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics during an extended All-Star break.

"Players are interested in playing, whether it's for the Team USA or any number of other teams around the world," union head Tony Clark said.

The Dodgers are already talking about a three-peat

Minutes after the Dodgers became the first repeat champion since the 1998-2000 New York Yankees, Dodgers star Freddie Freeman said matching that pinstriped power was the next goal.

"The Yankees are three-time back-to-back," he said, "so we get to use that same narrative next year."

Those Yankees are among just four instances of teams winning three or more consecutive championships alongside five by the 1949-53 Yankees, four by the 1936-39 Yankees and three by the 1972-74 Oakland Athletics.

Big market spending sparks talk of salary-cap proposal

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts attracted attention after the National League Championship Series sweep of Milwaukee when he yelled to Los Angeles fans: "They said the Dodgers are ruining baseball. Let's get four more wins and really ruin baseball!"

Los Angeles entered the World Series having spent $509.5 million in major league payroll and projected luxury tax, plus another $6.5 million for pitcher Roki Sasaki's minor league signing bonus.

Including Sasaki's bonus, the Dodgers spending for its two World Series title teams totaled at least $890 million. The New York Mets, who failed to reach the playoffs this year after getting knocked out in last year's NLCS, have spent about $860 million in 2024 and '25.

In a sign of how much payroll disparity has increased, the Athletics spent less than $150 million over the same period.

Manfred repeatedly has said owners haven't settled on their labor proposals, but the players' association is bracing to resist a push for a salary cap. Demand for a cap from owners is what led to a 7 1/2-month strike in 1994-95 and the first cancellation of the World Series in 90 years.

The labor contract expires on Dec. 2, 2026, and bargaining is likely to start this winter or spring.

More Japanese players likely headed to MLB

Following the success of Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki, more Japanese players may sign with MLB teams.

Munetaka Murakami, a third baseman and first baseman who turns 26 in February, is expected to be posted by the Yakult Swallows. He hit .273 with 22 homers and 47 RBIs this year, limited to 56 games by an oblique injury. A two-time Central League MVP, in 2022 he hit 56 homers to break Sadaharu Oh's record for a Japanese-born player while becoming the youngest player to earn Japan's Triple Crown.

Kazuma Okamoto, a 29-year-old third baseman and first baseman. will be posted by the Yomiuri Giants. He has 248 homers in 11 Central League seasons, hitting 30 or more from 2018-23.

Tatsuya Imai, a 27-year-old right-hander, could be posted by the Seibu Lions. He struck out 17 against Yokohama on June 17, breaking Daisuke Matsuzaka's prior team record of 16 from 2004.

Here come the robots

Game 7 of the World Series was MLB's last with human umpires making all ball/strike calls.

Starting next season, the Automated Ball/Strike System will be installed in all big league ballparks and batters, catchers and pitchers will be able to appeal decisions to a high-tech system of cameras tracking each pitch and judging whether it crossed home plate within the strike zone.

Each team has the ability to challenge two calls per game and a team retains its challenge if successful, similar to the regulations for video review, which has been in place for many calls since 2014. Teams that exhaust their challenges get one additional challenge in each extra inning

The window to deal is about to expire as the clock ticks toward the NFL's trade deadline.

Multiple teams have already made transactions ahead of the 4 p.m. ET, Nov. 4 cutoff. There was even a rare Saturday trade when the Philadelphia Eagles acquired former Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander from the Baltimore Ravens.

More trades are expected to occur before Tuesday's deadline. Could we see the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans or New Orleans Saints be sellers? Are Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys going to make a move? Will the Las Vegas Raiders acquiesce to wide receiver Jakobi Meyers' trade request?

The answers to those questions and more will soon be answered. USA TODAY Sports went around the NFL to investigate the latest rumors in advance of the trade deadline:

Could the New York Jets trade Breece Hall?

Multiple NFL teams remain interested in Hall despite Jets coach Aaron Glenn shooting down trade speculation.

"It could go either way," a source close to the situation told USA TODAY Sports. They spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Hall is on the final year of his rookie contract. His 759 yards from scrimmage ranked in the top 10 in the league entering Week 9.

Running back Braelon Allen's (knee) status on injured reserve could factor in the team's decision.

Logan Wilson, McKinnley Jackson trade requests in Cincinnati

Wilson hopes to be traded out of Cincinnati, a person close to the situation told USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Wilson asked for a trade more than a week ago and that request remains.

The linebacker has seen his snap count decrease. He signed a four-year contract with the Bengals in 2023.

Jackson has also requested a trade, a person familiar with the situation informed USA TODAY Sports. They spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

The defensive tackle has been a healthy scratch for most of the season. The Bengals drafted Jackson in the third round of the 2024 draft. He's the third defensive player to ask out of Cincinnati in recent weeks. The Bengals released DT Mike Pennel after he asked out. He subsequently re-signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Also in Cincinnati, it's unlikely the Bengals will deal Trey Hendrickson despite the defensive end being on an expiring contract. Hendrickson had requested a trade over the offseason amid a contract impasse, but he rescinded the ask after Cincinnati gave him a one-year pay bump.

Are New Orleans Saints sellers?

Saints wide receivers Rashid Shaheed, Brandin Cooks and Chris Olave are rumored to be available. However, people around the league believe Shaheed and Cooks are more likely to be dealt if the Saints choose to go in that direction.

If the Saints are indeed sellers, players could be available on both sides of the ball.

Jerry Jones, Cowboys going to make move?

Jones appeared on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and described the type of player the Cowboys would trade for.

"One that loves football. Loves football. That seems trite. Why wouldn't they be out there playing? Some do more than others," Jones said, per the Cowboys official website. "And so you're looking for guys that just are from within, self-motivators, miserable when they don't play well and they exude that around their teammates. That's just a little thing called makeup right there. Now obviously you want to get a player that is in the top percentile of the kind of players that you'd like to go forward with. That has a price tag."

The Cowboys need help on defense. They entered Week 9 with the worst defensive unit in the NFC.

Jakobi Meyers' trade request in Las Vegas

Meyers remains a name to monitor during the deadline after he requested a trade. Meyers tallied four catches for 24 yards in the Raiders' 30-29 Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers are believed to be interested in wide receiver help.

Are Miami Dolphins entering a rebuild?

Former Dolphins general manager Chris Grier wasn't inclined to trade away Miami's key players. Things have changed since Grier and the Dolphins mutually agreed to part ways. Dolphins interim general manager Champ Kelly is more open to deals before the trade deadline, per multiple reports.

After sending Jaelan Phillips to Philadelphia, multiple teams are rumored to be interested in edge rusher Bradley Chubb. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is unlikely to be dealt.

Teams calling about Seahawks defenders

Teams have inquired about Seahawks linebacker Boye Mafe and cornerback Riq Woolen, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Mafe and Woolen are both on expiring contracts.

Time to shop in Tennessee?

While the Titans have reportedly made quarterback Cam Ward and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons untouchable, other players in Tennessee are rumored to be available.

The Titans have already traded cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams.

Tennessee dropped to 1-8 after a Week 9 loss. The latest defeat could embolden the Titans to start thinking about the future.
