Tennessee Titans GM Ran Carthon's plea to fans backfires spectacularly amid miserable 1-6 season
The Titans were trounced 52-14 by the Lions on Sunday to move to 1-6 on the season, and Tennessee fans did not appreciate the remarks of GM Ran Carthon afterwards. Speaking to The Tennessean, Carthon - who is in his second year as the franchise's general manager - preached patience to the fanbase and even said 'you can't predict which way the ball bounces' after the 38-point loss. Those comments were poorly received by Titans fans, who slammed the 43-year-old on X as a result.
