Gerard Depardieu Found Guilty of Sexual Assault Against Two Women
French actor Grard Depardieu has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two women, in one of the most high-profile #MeToo cases in Europe. The 76-year-old star has appeared in more than 200 movies, including Cyrano de Bergerac and Jean de Florette, and has won multiple awards over more than five decades in cinema. On Tuesday, May 13, the court in Paris gave the actor an 18-month suspended prison sentence for groping two different women while shooting 2021 movie Les Volets Verts.
