Revealed: The dramatic late call to Tennessee Titans to try and get them to trade the No 1 NFL Draft pick
New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen made a last-second attempt to trade up two spots to the No 1 overall pick and select Cam Ward. It was revealed on 'Giants Life: 2025 NFL Draft', a web series from the team itself, that Scohen dialed up Mike Borgonzi, who is the GM of the Tennessee Titans, when the draft started to make one final plea. As teams who have the No 1 overall pick traditionally work, they are on the clock for months, not the 10-minute period allowed in the first round.
