Tragedy strikes as boy, 13, dies after suffering brain injury in basketball game
A 13-year-old boy has died after collapsing and suffering a brain injury during a basketball game, it was announced this week. Shama'ar Jefferson was playing at the Wichita Sports Forum in Kansas on March 30 when he began experiencing pain in his head. He also said that his vision was blurry after playing in the first half, local station KWCH reported, and actually passed a concussion test before eventually passing out.
