Beginning at age 15, Applegate writes that she was "madly in love" with Depp, and theMarried... With Childrenactress soon became a member of his friend group after guest starring on Depp's cop series,21 Jump Street, often visiting him on set in Vancouver.

"One thing is very clear from the journals: I was in love with Johnny Depp for years," Applegate said in her book. "He was eight years older than me. He always behaved impeccably toward me, even though I was clearly mad about him. It seems that back then I was just one of the guys to him, yet my journals are filled with complicated and ever-changing feelings. I swing from swoon to a cold bucket of water on the face in the span of less than two months."

The Emmy-winning actress even cited a specific journal entry that read, "I've been having really strange dreams about Johnny of all people. I can't really analyze them because I don't remember what they are once I wake up. I can only remember who's in them ... Johnny."

The young Applegate continued, "I can't sit here and wish he was something that he's not. I can't change him. But yet I wish I could get through to him."

Depp's dating timeline suggests that he was in a relationship with hisEdward ScissorhandscostarWinona Ryderduring Applegate's infatuation period.

Applegate eventuallywed actor Johnathon Schaech, only to divorce in 2007. Since 2013, she's been married to musician Martyn LeNoble, with whom she shares a daughter.

In his defence, the celebrity host said that the only reason Jamie Lee Curtis hasn't been a more frequent guest is that she is based in Los Angeles.

"Well, thanks for ridiculing me for where I live," the Halloween actress replied. "I'm born and raised in the City of Angels."

However, Fallon charmingly de-escalated the situation. He extended an open invitation for Curtis to appear on the show whenever she's in New York, citing his and the staff's great admiration for her. The 67-year-old was pleased, responding with a gracious, "Thank you, that's very nice of you."

Jamie Lee Curtis later clarified she's a big fan of Jimmy Fallon. Her playful jab was all in good fun, and she was happy to get a laugh out of him.

Jamie Lee Curtis is currently starring in the Prime Video crime drama series Scarpetta, alongside Nicole Kidman, and reprising her role in the film Freakier Friday. This is one of three signature events with a 36-hole cut. Only the top 50 and ties will make the weekend. U.S. Open winner J.J. That culminated in Friday's news ahead of Tatum's long-awaited but inspiring return from a devastating injury.

Despite being without Tatum — and trading away Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday — the Celtics have performed much better than expected. The team sits near the top of the Eastern Conference, with forward Jaylen Brown in the midst of an MVP-caliber season.

While it's impossible to know whether Tatum will fully return to form upon his comeback, the forward should make an impact, even if he's not at full strength. Tatum has made the All-Star team in each of the past six seasons in which he was healthy, and while he hasn't won an MVP award just yet, he's been in contention for that honor multiple times over that period.

Last season, Tatum averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. Those numbers earned him his fourth straight appearance on the first team All-NBA team.

The move comes at the perfect time. With the Celtics rapidly approaching the playoffs, Tatum should have enough time to work himself into form before the end of the regular season. If the team can get him back to full strength in time for the playoffs, the Celtics could be bound for a miraculous championship run during a year most wrote the team off.

Lily Collins' engagement ring will always hold a special place in her heart — and now it's back on her finger after the precious sparkler that was once stolen is back in her possession.

On March 6, theEmily in Parisactress, 36, revealed in her Instagram Stories that she was left "speechless" after Hakimian Imports Chicago Jewelers was able to get her"original" rose-cut diamond ring back to herafter three years.

"Having this home means SO much to us," she wrote across a selfie in which she showed off her ring. "I'm still speechless its back in my finger."

Collins' engagement ring, in addition to her wedding ring and other belongings, were stolen from from a West Hollywood hotel on May 6, 2023.

At the time, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirms to PEOPLE that officers responded to a burglary call at Edition Hotel on Sunset Boulevard after a well-known female celebrity's belongings were stolen from a secured locker. The actress was staying at the hotel when she went to the spa and locked up her belongings, sources told PEOPLE, and when she returned, her items were gone. The report for the items stolen was categorized as "over $10,000."

Collins and her husband Charlie McDowell (the son of actressMary Steenburgenand actor Malcolm McDowell)got engaged in September 2020. They announced the news on Instagram with photos of the proposal and a close-up of the ring. Appearing onLive with Kelly and Ryanshortly after, Collins said she "was very surprised by" the customIrene Neuwirth-designed rock. "But it's exactly what I would've wanted and he knew me so well, obviously."

TheFamily Guycreatorexplained why he opted to use AIto play the former president during an interview with the Associated Press on Thursday.

"I've been doing my Bill Clinton impression since the early days ofFamily Guy," MacFarlane said. "We filmed this like a year and a half ago. That's how long it takes us to do the CGI. It's an interesting example of how AI can be used as a tool and not necessarily trample on the art that the rest of the industry is doing."

MacFarlane —who also directs, writes, and executive produces the series — said that theTedteam exhausted every other option before turning to AI. "We tried prosthetics, we tried traditional CGI, and everything just looked terrifying," he said. "So we just said, 'To hell with it, let's try AI.'"

TheAmerican Dadcreator considers his AI version of Clinton a success. "It worked," he said. "It was the only way I looked like Bill Clinton."

Peacock'sTedseries serves as a '90s-set prequel to the 2012 movie of the same name. Both projects star MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, a foul-mouthed living teddy bear who is best friends with John, a human played by Mark Wahlberg in the film and by Max Burkholder in the series.

In the fifth episode of the show's new second season, titled "The Sword in the Stoned," John's parents Matty (Scott Grimes) and Susan (Alanna Ubach) begin working at Dunkin' Donuts, and Clinton — the current president in the show's timeline — walks in during one of their shifts.

Matty, a vocal Republican, takes the opportunity to criticize Clinton's policies, which prompts the president to clear the room to have a private conversation with him.

Clinton then launches into an expletive-filled tirade.

"Listen here, you pockmarked piece of s---. You've got some set of f---in' balls," Clinton says. "I take time out of my day to visit your little s--- shop, and you're giving me lip? Maybe the real problem is just that you're just a f---in' loser. F--- you, think you're so f---in' tough with your f---in' s---bag mouth. Why don't you take a swing at me, tough guy? I'll slap you back so hard you won't even recognize your own f---in' dick. And get a shave, you pig. The f---in' president's here."

Clinton then poses for a photo opportunity with Matty, orders Munchkins, and throws coffee at the barista.

MacFarlane previouslyexpressed mixed feelings about AIin a 2024 interview with Bill Maher on theClub Randompodcast.

NFL salary cap tracker: How much cap space does each team have going into free agency?

Free agency is one of the best ways an NFL team can engineer a stunning turnaround and go from bottom feeder to perennial contender. If you need proof of that, look no further than the New England Patriots, who, after spending the most money in free agency last offseason, surged to the Super Bowl after winning just four games in 2024.

In order to make those moves, however, an NFL team has to have an adequate amount of salary cap space. With the rising costs of player contracts and the exorbitant amount of money required to sign a quarterback to a second contract, some teams are in far worse shape to add talent as free agency fast approaches.

It doesn't have to be that way, of course. A team can drastically alter its situation with a key release or trade, suddenly freeing up the necessary funds to make that one move that finally puts it over the edge.

With free agency on the horizon, here's the amount of cap space with which each team is working this offseason.

When does NFL free agency start?

NFL players can officially sign with their new teams March 11 at 4 p.m. ET. While deals can't become official until that date and time, there's a bit of a catch to NFL free agency.

NFL legal tampering period, explained

NFL free agency can be broken down into two phases: the legal tampering period and the signing period. The legal tampering period, which will begin Monday, March 9 at noon ET, allows teams to get in touch with agents and start negotiating contracts with players. Players can't technically be signed during this period, which lasts until 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11.

Contracts, however, can essentially be completely behind the scenes, meaning there should be plenty of reports and rumors about where premier free agents are going during the legal tampering period.

Once 4 p.m. ET hits on March 11, the signing period begins, and free-agent moves (and trades) can become official. This is the point in free agency where teams start putting out releases and social-media posts announcing player signings.

What is the NFL salary cap?

More broadly, the NFL salary cap is a set dollar amount that NFL teams can not exceed with their player contracts. It seeks to create a more even playing field among all NFL teams, as no one team can vastly outspend another. That's not the casein a sport like baseball, where the Los Angeles Dodgers can run a $318 million payroll and the Miami Marlins can come in at $76.6 million.

For 2026, the NFL set the salary cap at $301.2 million. All 32 teams need to be under that number by the start of the new league year, which is slated for March 11 at 4 p.m. ET.

What is dead money in the NFL?

Most mentions of a team's salary cap situation typically include the term "dead money." That figure is the amount of money a team is paying a player who is no longer employed by the team. For example, despite releasing veteran wideout Stefon Diggs, the Patriots are still charged $9.7 million toward the salary cap due to Diggs' dead-cap number. The move ultimately saved the team roughly $15 million, though, because Diggs' 2026 cap hit was set to be $26 million in 2026.

When trying to determine how close a team is to hitting the salary cap, you need to include a team's dead money number in the equation.

PEOPLE has learned that Savannah thanked the entire staff and crew for all of their love, prayers and support and for "caring about my mom as much as I do."

Savannah said in part, "I wanted you to know that I'm still standing, and I still have hope, and I'm still me. And I don't know what version of me that will be, but it will be. I'm holding onto my faith. I still believe. And as my mom would say, 'where else would I go?'"

Savannah added: "I have every intention of coming back. I don't know how to come back, but I don't know how not to. You're my family. And, I would like to try."

PEOPLE has also learned that Savannah's friend and colleagueDylan Dreyerthen led a "beautiful" group prayer for everyone, which began, "We're here holding hands as a family, in a place where we don't understand why this is happening.... It is not too bold to ask God for the biggest miracles every day."Before she left, Savannah hugged everyone in the studio.

ATodayspokesperson previouslyconfirmed Savannah's visit to 1A, saying in a statement that the beloved anchor "stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank herTodaycolleagues."

The spokesperson also noted thatSavannah "plans to return to the show on air,"though she currently "remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home."

Shortly after the visit,Jenna Bush HagerandSheinelle Jonesbegan their fourth hour show,Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,and reflected on the emotional reunion.

"Let's just get right into it, full disclosure, we've had a powerful morning this morning," Jones shared with viewers.

"Savannah has come back to her home here at 30 Rock in Studio 1A," Bush Hager said, getting audibly choked up. "We got to see her this morning and in her perfect way, she talked to all of us, hugged every single person in this room, the crew."

"She said that she has the intention to return to the show even though it feels like the hardest thing to do. It's also her home and where she feels so loved," Bush Hager added. "And she is beyond loved here. So we're happy she's home. I don't know when she's actually returning to the show. But she was here and that felt so good to get to hug her."

Earlier in the week, Savannah visited Nancy's Tucson, Ariz. property alongside her sisterAnnie Guthrieand brother-in-law Tommaso Cioni on March 2. Ina video obtained by NewsNation, the three were seen hugging one another as they looked at atribute created near Nancy's mailboxand added yellow flowers to the display.

The same day, Savannah shared anew photo on social mediafeaturing the many bouquets of flowers around Nancy's mailbox, writing in her caption, "We feel the love and prayers from our neighbors, from the Tucson community and from around the country 💛 please don't stop praying and hoping with us. bring her home."

Nancy was last seengoing into her garage at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31. She wasreported missing by her familyat 12:03 p.m. local time on Feb. 1 when she failed to join friends to watch a virtual church service.

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Savannah announced thatthe family was offering a rewardof up to $1 million for any information leading to Nancy's recovery.The FBI's reward of $100,000also remains active.

Savannah also shared that the family donated $500,000 to theNational Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Zion Williamson had 23 points on 10-for-14 shooting, Trey Murphy III added 21 points and the New Orelans Pelicans beat the NBA-worst Sacramento Kings 133-123 on Thursday night.

Saddiq Bey shot 6 for 11 (3 for 5 from 3-point range) and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line for 20 points for the Pelicans, who had lost two in a row after a four-game win streak.

Williamson added nine rebounds and five assists.

Precious Achiuwa had 29 points and 12 rebounds and Russell Westbrook had 19 points and 10 assists for the Kings, who fell to 14-50 overall and lost their ninth in a row at home. They have lost three in a row and are 2-4 following a franchise-worst 16-game losing streak.

The Pelicans entered halftime up 67-61. The Pelicans took a 14-point lead in the third quarter thanks to a 15-0 scoring run.

The Pelicans made 12 3-pointers compared to the Kings eight.

All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray (return to competition reconditioning) did not play for the first game of a back-to-back (New Orleans plays at Phoenix on Friday).
