BYU mascot narrowly avoids tragedy as outrageous stunt spectacularly backfires during game
BYU's Cosmo Cougar has built a reputation on pushing the envelope of what a mascot can do athletically, with a wild stunt over the weekend nearly ending tragically for the man inside the costume. Cosmo's latest stunt involved doing a cartwheel into a huge backflip. The catch is while in the air, the Cougars' mascot had to flip over a moving vehicle. Starting the run-up from the 20-yard line, Cosmo builds a lot of speed before he starts his acrobatics.
