England take 1-0 lead in T20 series against West Indies after Phil Salt's blistering unbeaten ton in Barbados
Phil Salt struck a blistering third Twenty20 international hundred as England cruised into a 1-0 series lead over West Indies. With locals at the Kensington Oval up in arms that no Barbados players were included in West Indies' XI, it only served to irritate their wounds that Salt and Jacob Bethell, both of whom grew up on the island, guided the tourists to an enthralling eight-wicket win. Salt's previous two tons also came here in the Caribbean last December, and although at 53 balls this was the slowest, it promises to be the most significant, invigorating an England team badly out of kilter in white-ball cricket.
