Footy star Payne Haas announces huge family news after one of the most turbulent years of his life
With his mother and father both in prison, Payne Haas has opened up on his dramatic year off the pitch that has ended with some heartwarming news for the Broncos superstar. At only 24, Haas has had a lot on his plate with his father Gregor arrested in May on drug trafficking charges after allegedly trafficking crystal methamphetamine from Mexico into Indonesia. On top of that, his mum Joan Taufua is in jail awaiting sentencing after three people died in a car accident involving a vehicle she was driving in 2022.
