WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman says the 'broadcast future of boxing is clear' and insists the rise of DAZN is promising for the sport, but claims the streaming service must work with the mainstream media. Queensberry Promotions have signed a multi-year media rights deal with streaming giant DAZN. From April 1 of next year, all Queensberry events will be hosted exclusively on the platform and available worldwide. The move sees the promotion, founded by Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren, join the likes of Matchroom and Golden Boy on DAZN - leaving some fans concerned about the fact boxing is moving away from the mainstream media.
