Patrick Mahomes gives major update about his ankle injury as fans fear he could miss Chiefs' next game
Patrick Mahomes has quelled fears that he could miss the Chiefs' upcoming game against the Denver Broncos, despite admitting that his ankle is 'a little bit sore' after reaggravating an injury on Monday night. A hush went around Arrowhead during Kansas City's overtime win over the Bucs when superstar quarterback Mahomes had to be helped off the field in the second half. Although he managed to finish the game, the ankle injury was a concern given it was the second straight game in which he has felt pain in the same area, abruptly pulling up from a scramble and instead opting to throw a touchdown pass.
