Pedro Pascal Pedro Pascal's family is always standing by his side. The actor's parents, Vernica Pascal Ureta and Jos Balmaceda Riera, fled Chile with Pedro and his sister when they were young. The couple had to go into hiding for about six months after becoming political refugees, Pedro said during a June 2023 episode of the SmartLess podcast. Initially, they sought asylum in Denmark before moving to the United States.
