Promising Matildas star suffers heartbreaking ACL injury after receiving her first international call-up
Hana Lowry's 2024-25 season has heartbreakingly been cut short early after the 21-year-old Sydney FC star midfielder ruptured her ACL on Sunday. The news came just days before the Matildas opening fixture against Brazil at the Suncorp Stadium, with the side also set to take on Chinese Taipei next week. Lowry had received her first international call-up earlier this November and was primed to make her debut for Australia.
