Rank outsider Knight's Choice has clamed the 2024 Melbourne Cup in a photo finish, beating Japanese raider Warp Speed by a nose. Irish-born, Queensland-based jockey Robbie Dolan who shot to fame as a singer on Aussie reality show The Voice powered the 64-1 shot to victory, crashing past Warp Speed and third-place getter Okita Soushi. "I'll be singing for the rest of my life after that," Dolan said. 'It is incredible.
