Australia's most prestigious sporting members club has altered the wording to its dress code to accommodate transgender, non binary, intersex and other genders outside of the traditional male and female. The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious sporting clubs in Australia after being established in 1838. It is responsible for managing the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and has a long waiting list, with prospective members often waiting more than 20 years for full membership status.
