Latrell Mitchell set to make footy return during NRL grand final week - but NOT with Souths

Latrell Mitchell won't play NRL footy again this year, but the Rabbitohs superstar will be putting on his footy boots soon to play rugby league for Taree in the Koori Knockout. Mitchell, 27, was suspended for one game and also fined $20,000 by the NRL after his ill-fated trip to Dubbo on the weekend of August 10-11. The star fullback has played just 11 games for the club in 2024 because of injury and suspension, with his latest injury setback coming in round 18.
