Conor McGregor has slammed a current UFC champion and urged Dana White to set up a title showdown despite his long absence from the Octagon. McGregor last fought in July 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier in their trilogy bout at UFC 264 after suffering a broken leg in the opening round. His much-anticipated comeback against Michael Chandler in June was scuppered after he broke a toe in his left foot in training.
