Polarising footy commentator Kane Cornes has hit back after he was accused of labelling Port Adelaide midfielder Zak Butters 'soft.' The superstar midfielder was replaced at half time last Thursday with a rib concern, with subsequent scans revealing bone bruising following the heavy qualifying defeat against Geelong. On Sunday, Cornes stated Butters 'wanted to be subbed or they subbed him out' which some footy fans - and officials - felt was a way of stating the young gun lacked desire versus the Cats.
