Fox Sports commentator Steve Roach comes under fire for mocking Sydney Roosters recruit Mark Nawaqanitawase's name: 'Insulting'
The professionalism of footy great Steve Roach has been called into question after he openly mocked the surname of Roosters recruit Mark Nawaqanitawase on live television. In cringeworthy scenes on Fox Sports' NRL Tonight program on Monday, the former Balmain Tigers prop acknowledged the cross-code star is 'going to be a good player' in the NRL before a woeful attempt at pronouncing his name. In the video, Roach calls the former Wallaby who is of Fijian origin Mark 'Wangawangawangawanga'.
