Neal Maupay has revealed why he decided to post a clip from Shawshank Redemption during his Everton exit. Maupay departed Everton to join Marseille on a season long loan at the end of the transfer window with the deal including an obligation for the French club to purchase him next summer for just £3m. Maupay clearly couldn't contain his delight in leaving Goodison Park, as the 28-year-old cheekily shared the escape scene from the movie Shawshank Redemption on his social media before the transfer had even been sealed.
