New Everton owners 'could replace Sean Dyche with ex-England boss Gareth Southgate' - who has not managed at club level since 2009
Ex-England manager Gareth Southgate has reportedly emerged as a possible target for the US-based group set to take control of Everton. The Friedkin Group, led by chairman Dan Friedkin, reached an agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri's majority 94 per cent stake in the Toffees earlier this week. But the deal, which is set to earn Moshiri' around £400million, is still subject to regulatory approval from the Premier League, the Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority.
