With the departure of NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, his ex-protégé Shams Charania has been tipped by many to replace him. However, ESPN are facing some serious competition to bring the 30-year-old basketball scoopster aboard. As reported by Complex, NBC are battling ESPN for Charania, whose contracts with other outlets are said to be near expiration. NBC and its streaming arm Peacock will show a combined 100 regular season games starting in the 2025-26 season, following the NBA's new media rights deal.
