Nantes owner Waldemar Kita has rubbished claims that Trent Alexander-Arnold was in talks to purchase the French side. Reports surfaced earlier this week that the Liverpool defender was considering adding Nantes to his portfolio through an investment fund owned with his dad, Michael. Earlier this week French outlet L'Equipe claimed the 25-year-old had prepared a bid worth €100m (£84m), with €80m (£67m) up front, along with €20m (£17m) in seller credit.
